We have regularly delivered help to the medical teams and the nurses who are at the front line in dealing with this crisis steadily, whether to install 5G network in a hospital that takes testing and treatment of COVID-19 patients, The distribution of 5G ROBOT FOR CARE medical service robot to assist care for the COVID-19 patients, which has already delivered 18 units to 17 hospitals. Currently, we are accelerating the development and delivery of a total of 23 units to 22 hospitals by May 2020. However, aside from the benefits in terms of reducing burden, reducing risk, reducing touching, and reducing the possibility of infection for medical personnel. It also acknowledges Thais to see the tangible benefits of 5G technology, due to it reduces limitations and creates equality in providing health services for Thais in all areas throughout the country, which will direct to a better quality of life with sustainability.

All of this will benefit contemporary medical care, with Chulabhorn Hospital as a prototype of medical care via 5G technology. We continue to move to inspire and forward the knowledge of 5G technology for the medicine to Thai society."

  1. Bring 5G to support the development of an intelligent AI processing system for CT scan of lungs machine on the first 5G network in Thailand to enhance the efficiency of CT Scan to send lung images with files of more than 300 MB size to be processed via the AI-assisted Medical Imaging Solutions for COVID-19 immediately.
  2. The Delivering of the robotics medical service 5G ROBOT FOR CARE to perform as a medical assistant in the care of COVID-19 patients by utilizing a diversity of advanced technology such as infrared technology to measure body temperature accurately, 3D mapping technology to map the robot route and enable it to move to the patient automatically. All of these work on 5G network under the AIS Robot Platform, which developed by AIS to assist in avoiding direct contact or close contact with patients and able to Customized to meet the needs of each hospital, which will be utilized at the COVID-19 inpatient ward of Chulabhorn Hospital.
  3. Support Smart Device, Network, and Application in fully connected to enhance the long-distance medical consultation service with video calling, which was used at the COVID-19 Call Center of Chulabhorn Hospital in collaboration with the application "ME-MORE", an online doctor meeting application to allow patients or those suspected of being infected with the Covid-19 virus can consult a doctor from home without having to go to the hospital.
  4. The establishment of 5G to support the teaching and learning in a Smart Class Room of Chulabhorn Royal Academy by using multiple technologies to create an intelligent classroom to enhance the teaching and learning with efficiency for students in various departments.
