Digital technology has played an increasingly important role in many aspects of people’s lives. Digital technology is key to careers, education, public health, sports and entertainment, and most importantly, finance. However, the public should be aware of cybersecurity threats including identity theft, phishing, and cyberbullying. AIS takes responsibility for the services that it provides to consumers. We see the necessity of building cyber-immunity and online skills for Thai people to become responsible digital citizens, which will promote use cases of digital tech that are economically and socially beneficial, while reducing cyber-threats from scammers and inappropriate uses of the Internet.
Management Approach
“Using Internet and social media appropriately” is a significant topic for AIS to do business sustainably, from giving knowledge and enhancing digital skills for general Internet users, to selecting solutions or technologies which are tools to prevent cyber threats, required for providing services to customers. This operation will be further developed and expanded. AIS is committed to protecting Thai people from cyber threats while promoting a safe and responsible online society enjoying cyber immunity with a particular focus on vulnerable groups. There is a 3-pronged strategy under the “Aunjai Cyber” project. Access is via the following link: Click here

Cyberthreat protection by protective tools
AIS has delivered the AIS Secure Net and AIS Fibre Secure Net, which protect our customers from cybercrimes via network-based security solutions, which more efficiently help AIS to access customer segments at risk of falling victim to cyber threats.
We also collaborate with our international partners to provide our customers with alternative applications, which strongly protect our customers.
In addition, AIS has launched the 1185 hotline or AIS Spam Report Center, which is free of charge. Customers can call to report scammers’ numbers and SMS.
Creating Awareness of the Danger and Impacts of the Internet and Technology
AIS presents information to provide knowledge and build digital skills so that the Thai public are aware of cybercrimes and can protect themselves against them. We promote responsible use of the internet on social media including Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.
