Although high-speed internet service network covers almost every area in Thailand, certain user groups still lack digital knowledge and skills to fully leverage internet connectivity for enhancing their quality of life and work. This limited internet usage poses a challenge to AIS's business strategy, which aims to establish a telecommunications network covering all inhabited areas to broaden digital technology accessibility. Consequently, there is a pressing need to promote broader internet usage among diverse population groups. This includes supporting internet access for essential services such as healthcare, education, and financial services. Simultaneously, it presents an opportunity to expand the customer base, generate revenue, foster community engagement, and maintain long-term relationships between the community and AIS. Such efforts will not only enhance AIS's corporate image as a digital society enabler but also contribute positively to societal advancement.

AIS is committed to being a part of improving life for the Thai people, using its communication technology resources to support development keeping the Thai people in step with the digital era. Elevating the Quality of Life for Thai People

Expansion of digital infrastructure for maximum coverage in support of efficient communication
Green Energy Green Network for Thais project
We are committed to developing a high-quality telecommunications network that covers the entire country, especially in remote areas. AIS, in collaboration with its partner, Gulf Energy Development Public Company Limited (GULF), and the Highland Research and Development Institute (Public Organization) (HRDI), has developed the Green Energy Green Network for Thais project. This project uses clean energy to connect digital technology networks for Thais. It is being piloted in two remote areas in Tak Province to enhance access to digital technology, expand the multi-dimension of its uses, and improve the quality of life for Thai people.
Develop digital platforms to enhance the quality of life for Thai people
AIS and LearnDi have been promoting education for Thai people through the AIS Academy for Thai people, collaborating consistently with partners in the EdTech industry. Through the LearnDi application, they've established a comprehensive online learning management platform, fostering equal and diverse learning opportunities. Evolving from a platform solely for employee learning, it has transformed into a "Mission to drive digital society" initiative, extending LearnDi to benefit the Thai people. This initiative aims to create a sustainable learning platform beneficial to all groups within the education space.
The aim of “Mission to drive digital society” is to encompass all groups within the education space. AIS Academy designed each of its programs to respond to the demands and necessities of each learning group as follows:
Digital Library
In collaboration with the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, AIS carried out the Digital Library to Share Knowledge project, allowing students access to a wealth of knowledge in the forms of E-Learning and E-Books through the ReadDi digital library platform. This project is hoped to create opportunities and develop potential for underprivileged children and youths, allowing them access to the skills and essential knowledge for growing in the digital era and bridging the gap in access to knowledge in Thai society.
The Educators Thailand
AIS has cooperated with the Secretariat Office of The Teachers’ Council of Thailand, the Ministry of Education, and leading personnel in the educational sector. The collaboration aims to elevate Thai education under the concept “Going beyond a teacher to a sustainable teaching innovation for Thai teachers” to equip Thai teachers with digital skills to creatively design learning materials for new ways of delivery to the new generation.
The Good Kids, Brave Heart Project
Introduced in 2001, the project has since provided financial support for young people in need to reduce social inequality and offer educational opportunities for Thai youths, enabling them to have a career to take care of themselves and the family in the future. Building upon the concept “Giving opportunities is giving a future”, the project grants scholarships to students at different levels who demonstrate good conduct, perseverance, help with the family, and volunteerism to complete their studies up to bachelor’s degree level. AIS hopes that these efforts will empower these young people to have a good future and contribute to family, the community, and society.
