Fast-changing technology has resulted in the frequent replacement of equipment to keep up with technology, inevitably adding to the amount of e-waste every year. AIS is dedicated to the correct management of environmentally hazardous waste resulting from its operations which may affect society and the environment, particularly developing processes to reduce volumes of waste and increase recycling. On top of this is promoting Thais to be aware of the correct methods to dispose of electronic waste, to bring e-waste into the recycling process or otherwise dispose of it correctly.

Promoting Thais understanding of correct methods to dispose of e-Waste through the campaign, “Thais say no to e-Waste” with a focus on expanding cooperation with the partner networks that recognize the importance of addressing the issue of electronic waste to sustainably improve the environment. E-waste drop-off points have been expanded to over 2,500 locations nationwide, alongside launching the e-waste+ app, an electronic waste management system on the Blockchain, to manage electronic waste disposal end-to-end.
