AIS Aunjai Cyber Spreads “A New Smile, Close to You” to Inspire Positivity and Foster Safe Online Spaces on Stop Cyberbullying Day

Bangkok, [20 June 2025] – On the occasion of Stop Cyberbullying Day, observed annually on the third Friday of June, AIS Aunjai Cyber reaffirms its commitment as a “Digital Partner for Every Generation” by promoting 2025 as the “Year of Cyber Security.” In line with the global theme set by the Cybersmile Foundation, “Words are Permanent,” AIS has launched the Mini Stop Cyberbullying Campaign “A New Smile, Close to You.” The campaign encourages Thais to recognize the power of words, spread positivity, and create smiles for those around them while raising awareness of the hidden threats of online bullying.
Ms. Saichon Submakudom, Head of Public Relations and Business Relations at AIS, stated:
“AIS has continuously strived to enhance digital wellness, ensuring people understand how to use digital platforms responsibly, safely, and creatively. According to the 2024 Thailand Cyber Wellness Index (TCWI), awareness of online bullying among Thais is relatively high. However, over 42% of children and teenagers remain at risk, lacking the tools to cope with hate speech and harmful online behaviors, such as exclusion, verbal harassment, ridicule, or defamation. Every word carries weight—often inflicting deep, invisible wounds. On Stop Cyberbullying Day this year, AIS Aunjai Cyber is proud to play a role in fostering positivity through the campaign ‘A New Smile, Close to You.’ We invite everyone to pause before typing, think before commenting, and join activities designed to make people smile—because kind words truly have the power to heal hearts.”
The campaign introduces interactive and creative tools, such as Sticker Tattoos and a TikTok Filter, to engage the public and amplify awareness. AIS has also partnered with influential voices and viral creators to spread the message among Gen Z communities, including:
- Tangmo Sayapa (Syamo) – a rising TikTok creator known for her vintage fashion content and strong digital presence.
- Mai Loren – an influencer embodying positivity and confidence, representing LGBTQ+ diversity as part of Power Puff Gay.
- Thammachart – a TikTok creator committed to fun, safe, and non-harmful content that inspires constructive engagement.
Together, these voices highlight the campaign’s message that words can either harm or heal, and encourage people to use their voices to spread kindness online.
AIS Aunjai Cyber invites everyone to join the movement by sharing smiles with friends and communities. Participation is simple: try the TikTok Filter, post on social media, and include the hashtags: #รอยยิ้มใหม่ใกล้ฉัน #อุ่นใจCYBER #AunjaiCheck #DigitalWellness #StopCyberbullying2025
