Green Energy Green Network for THAIs

AIS, GULF, and the Highland Research and Development Institute (Public Organization) (HRDI) have partnered to expand access to essential infrastructure and improve quality of life in Thailand’s most remote communities.
By combining AIS’s digital network expertise, GULF’s leadership in sustainable energy and infrastructure, and HRDI’s deep understanding of highland development, the initiative delivers clean solar power and reliable digital connectivity to underserved areas. Solar-powered electricity systems and renewable energy-driven telecommunications base stations provide communities with access to both energy and communication services, helping bridge the digital divide, create economic opportunities, and support sustainable community development.
From 2024 to 2028, the program will benefit 30 remote communities across Thailand, focusing on areas with limited access to electricity and telecommunications. The initiative aims to reduce inequality, enhance livelihoods, and enable long-term, inclusive growth for people living in some of the country’s most isolated regions.

aligns with several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by addressing critical challenges related to energy access, digital inclusion, sustainable communities, and multi-sector collaboration.
