Green Energy Green Networkfor Thais
Advanced Info Service Public Company Limited (AIS), Thailand’s leading digital network provider, has joined forces with Gulf Development Public Company Limited (GULF), a regional leader in sustainable energy and infrastructure, and the Highland Research and Development Institute (Public Organization), or HRDI, to improve the quality of life for people living in remote areas by expanding their access to essential infrastructure services.
This collaboration brings together the respective strengths of the two private-sector organizations and the expertise of HRDI, a government agency that plays a vital role in advancing economic, social, and environmental development in Thailand’s highland communities. Under the initiative, the partners will provide communities with electricity generated from clean solar energy, while also installing solar-powered base stations to connect remote communities to digital networks.
The initiative aims to bridge the divide between digital and infrastructure, enhance quality of life, and foster inclusive and sustainable economic growth within local communities.
