AIS Expands Digital Library Initiative to Bridge Learning Opportunities for Remote Communities Sustainably
AIS continues to promote equitable access to education through the development of its Digital Library under the Green Energy Green Network for THAIs initiative. By combining digital technology with clean energy-powered internet infrastructure, the project brings learning opportunities to schools and communities in remote areas across Thailand.
The initiative aims to enhance the quality of life for Thai people by providing children, youth, and local communities with equal access to knowledge. AIS supports schools with computers, laptops, and tablets, alongside reliable internet connectivity, creating a practical and inclusive digital learning environment where educational resources are readily accessible.
The Digital Library platform offers a wide range of learning materials, including e-books and educational videos covering essential skills such as English language learning, reading promotion, and vocational knowledge. This enables learners of all ages to continuously develop new skills based on their interests and learning needs.
In addition, AIS has integrated its Aunjai Cyber curriculum into the platform to strengthen digital resilience and cyber awareness. The curriculum equips users with the knowledge and skills to recognize online threats while encouraging the safe, responsible, and productive use of digital technologies, supporting Thailand's long-term digital skills development.
Project evaluation results show exceptionally high user satisfaction, with ratings ranging from 4.5 to 5.0 out of 5, reflecting participants' appreciation for the new knowledge gained and the practical digital skills they can apply in their everyday lives.
AIS firmly believes that access to knowledge is the foundation of equal opportunity. The Digital Library serves as another key mechanism for connecting remote communities to the world of digital learning, empowering people through education while contributing to Thailand's sustainable development across social, economic, and digital dimensions.
