AIS Joins Government-NBTC in Caring for Thai People Facing COVID-19 Provides 10GB to Mobile Phones and Increases Home Internet Speed to 100 Mbps FREE for 30 Days!

(10 April 2020) Mr. Pratthana Leelapanang, AIS's Chief Consumer Business Officer, indicated that “the COVID-19 pandemic has prompted the Thai government to issue a policy promoting companies have their staff work from home as well as policies on social distancing, making internet accessibility even more essential. AIS has joined hands with the government and the National Broadcast and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) to care for the Thai people as they face COVID-19 by providing 10GB of data to AIS mobile phone service users whose package is less than 10GB and increasing the speed of home internet for AIS clients to 100 Mbps completely free of charge so that they may all access the internet without concern. AIS has prepared to accommodate new registrations and has expanded its network capacity by three-fold to handle demand during the COVID-19 situation”.
