AIS Receives Sustainability Awards Silver Class 2021 Featured in The Sustainability Yearbook 2021
AIS has received the Sustainability Awards Silver Class 2021, reflecting its commitment to sustainable business as a leader in Thailand’s telecommunications industry and its development to match global sustainability standards.
Mr. Somchai Lertsutiwong, Chief Executive Officer of Advanced Info Services Plc. (AIS), stated that “AIS has been awarded the Sustainability Awards Silver Class 2021 and featured in The Sustainability Yearbook 2021, underlining the company’s significant progress in the area of sustainability, after we last year received Sustainability Awards Bronze Class 2020, and the success of our continued commitment to sustainable business development through the enhancement of operations under a vision and policies that account for the economy, society and the environment as well as good governance and our impact on stakeholders. The evaluations are clear indicators of a company’s efficacy in terms of sustainable development and each year S&P Global ranks leading companies for sustainability in each industry based on their Dow Jones Sustainability Indices scores”.
